rFR World F1 League - Season #7 Preview

All systems go for Season #7 of rFR World F1 League. Gonna be three cars per team this season and I'll be racing as third driver for the Williams Team. Points system will revert to top ten finishers, so it will be tough to maintain my scoring streak. Talk says Mercedes Team with defending champion Lau is the strongest trio, but I think McLaren and Ferrari are the true top teams. Schedule is a good mix of current tracks and three retro tracks, Brands Hatch, Old Hockenheim (yes nice), and Hermanos Rodriguez.

rFR World F1 League - Season #6 Final Championship Standings

A good season for me, scoring points every race. I could have been the rookie champion, too if there was no countback. A top ten finish was certainly possible, but I'll just say the outside world got in the way and I wasn't able to practice as much as I should have. Anyway, we will be using the same mod for next season and I hope to do better now that I have more experience with the car. Thanks to all drivers and admins, and thank you Racing Gods.

for not so serious buyers also

Good news today, I have been promoted to a full-time race seat over at rFactor Racers World F1 League. Gonna take over #8 Gatis Stalshans' Caterham. Been a good season so far and I have scored points every race. Now we head over to A1 Ring (known today as Red Bull Ring) for Round 9 of Season 6.

Well, the last time I raced in A1 Ring I actually won. It was way back 2012, with Hammerdown Racing League using 1982 F1 season cars. A1 Ring was also the most popular track during the F1C 99-02 daze. I can run a good lap time here, not so far behind the leaders. The track layout is short and simple, but the sense of speed is amazing. One of my favorite tracks.

More than halfway through the season and Caterham team with only 1 point. I hear Crystakke (race winner in Bahrain with one of the other Pirelli cars) is taking over the other Caterham car. I wonder if they will transfer our points or just the keep the ones we score from here on out. Anyway, I am feeling confident for this coming race. I think I will do well and score big and break into the top ten in overall standings.
